Joice Mujuru delaying the rains to disrupt Zimasset

Ma-comrades at The Herald and The Sunday Mail, Joice Mujuru is conspiring to delay the rains in some parts of the country to derail Zimasset.
This is in addition to all what we have exposed about her so far. Imagine that this woman is causing sewage spillages in Harare. All the potholes were caused by Joice Mujuru and Ray Kaukonde.
They together with Rugare Gumbo stole all the medicines from the hospitals. They conspired with the nurses and doctors to empty the government medical stores just to make the omnipresent and omniscient and the undefeated and undying President Robert Gabriel Mugabe fail.
I tell you ma-comrades, Joice Mujuru and her sidekicks must feel it this year nokuti vafongorera pfuti. What kind of a woman is Joice Mujuru honestly? Imagine her studying for a PhD ahead of the magnificent, the ever graceful and sweetest Doctor Grace Mugabe. Now, did Solomon Mujuru have any degree? Not even a Form two qualification. So why would this Joice Mujuru want to have a PhD before the ever green, the most beautiful and the sweetest First Lady Grace Mugabe?
Well, the first secretary and the commander-in-chief, the people's saviour and the most educated President Robert Mugabe spent sleepless nights teaching the most beautiful and the sweetest Grace to beat all records known in history by studying for a PhD in three months.
There is one thing you seem to forget ma-comrades. It is Joice Mujuru who has accelerated Robert Mugabe's old age. Why not when she is dying to succeed him? She wants the President to age faster so that she can easily smother him while he takes a nap in his office.
In any case, why would the President age if it is not Joice Mujuru causing it? That woman ma-comrades will not stop at anything.
You are doing very well ma-comrades. You have shown who Joice Mujuru is. Imagine her telling the nation that she downed a chopper during the war? Who does that? So what does she want Comrade Ambassador Chris Mutsvangwa to say he was doing during the war? Does it not sound like an arrogant thing to say for Joice Mujuru?
I laugh the whole day when I read about how you are tearing Rugare Gumbo apart. Indeed, kumubvarura sejira rekwa Amato. Those who do not know what Amato is, ask Webster Shamu. He used to do a radio promotional programme about Amato shop that used to be at the corner of Julius Nyerere and Kenneth Kaunda.
What arrogance is that we see in Rugare Gumbo lying to us that he was in the war? Damnit. So where will the intelligent Professor Jonathan Moyo say he was if the likes of Rugare Gumbo lie first?
As for Ray Kaukonde, you have him by the balls. After all, he was there when the sweetest Grace was shagging the undefeated and undying President Robert Gabriel Mugabe. Remember that this Ray Kaukonde was the late Sally Mugabe's bodyguard and driver. If you ma-comrades leave him intact, he is likely to leak.
So, throw everything at him. Yes, he raped women for jobs. Indeed, he forged his O Level certificate. Dig. Dig. Dig some more ma-comrades. We must leave this Kaukonde in the dumps.
While you are at it, don't forget to tell the people how the same Kaukonde served the party and the country as a secret agent. That should make people laugh at how such a small man managed to hoodwink the system.
I also feel you are not doing enough on Jabulani Sibanda apart from telling us that he was 11 years when the war ended in 1980. Tear him apart.
Well, regardless, ma-comrades muri kuita basa. Ndimi varume chaivo.

Mnangagwa's connections - Lebanese diamond dealer, Iraqi arms dealer in the Congo

This is part 2 of how Emmerson Mnangagwa used the army to enrich himself, Grace Mugabe and those close to them. Various reports used in this story link Mnangagwa to a Lebanese diamond dealer, an Iraqi arms dealer and corrupt Congolese mine owners. They smuggled huge sums of money across the globe. Some was used on the black market in Zimbabwe at the height of inflation.

The report also says Mnangagwa and his associates use planes that belong to Avient, a company owned by ZANU-PF treasurer and close Mugabe associate J.C. Joshi.

Avient also supplied the Congolese army with aircraft and by so doing, there were no questions asked concerning the illicit deals that were done.

"The procedure was quite straightfoward," the report quotes a source. "We'd meet with a guy called Alphonse in Kinshasa, a Belgian diamond dealer, and we gave him US dollars for uncut stones that had been extracted from JFPI Corporation mines in the Congo's big diamond area Mbuji-Mayi.

"Then we'd go back to Harare with the diamonds and from there we'd take them down to South Africa to have them cut. That was the tricky part."

The source is also quoted saying that a couple of individuals employed by Shanfari smuggled the diamonds to Johannesburg in their underpants.

"Enough diamonds to fill a tea cup," the source says. "Easily half a million to a million US worth on each trip. Once the stones had made it through Johannesburg airport the rest was easy.

"We got the diamonds back into Harare - never a problem because we had the infrastructure of the military to assist us and of course carte blanche in the airport itself. From there the diamonds, certified as if they had been extracted legally from a mine owned by Oryx, travelled on to Antwerp where they were sold legally.

"The people who put the money into the system in the first place got the same amount back, but now certified by the Antwerp diamond buyer as having clean provenance. It was pure money-laundering. Everybody was happy. Thamer's Arab friends had achieved their objectives. Thamer took a big cut. Emmerson and the others made easy money."

"Sometimes, though, Shanfari tried to get a little too clever, according to sources. It worked beautifully, until the day that it didn't," the report further quotes the source.

According to the report, the US dollars would be taken from Harare to Kinshasa not to buy diamonds but to be exchanged into Congolese Francs by Shanfari's associate named as Akram Moorad - a nephew of the Lebanese diamond dealer who supplied cash to many underworld dealers across the globe.

"Thamer called the Congolese Francs 'chicken feed'," recalled Ali. "There was tons of the stuff, loaded inside big silver containers, that we'd take back to Harare. Later, in the dead of night, we'd load the boxes onto a Libyan plane - a private plane from Tripoli, at Harare airport which would take the money to Kisangani, which was a provincial office of JFPI Corporation as well as the heart of rebel country in the Congo war. Here they desperately needed Congolese Francs."

Who says Mnangagwa's not corrupt? - Part 1

In this first part, I show how Emmerson Mnangagwa, Grace Mugabe and Sydney Sekeramayi dealt in forex, smuggled Congolese diamonds and gold.

Emmerson Mnagagwa, known as the son of God because of his support from Robert Mugabe, is involved in various business activities. He is a farmer and is into mining.

He went into the DRC for mining after Zimbabwe's involvement in the civil war there. He works with the Congo-based company called JFPI Corporation that is into gold and diamond mining.

Between 2002 and 2003, a United Nations Security Council report named him as one of the illegal mineral exploiters in the Congo.

He works with the Omani businessman Thamer Said Ahmed Al Shanfari aka Al Shanfari, aka Sheikh Thamer and were both  named in the UN report. Shanfari is the son of ex-Omani minister of oil.

Shanfari is the president and chief executive officer of a company called Oryx Natural Resources that owns a joint diamond concession in Mbuji-Mayi with JFPI Corporation, the governments of Zimbabwe and the Congo.

A SA report described Shanfari as Mnangagwa's most important foreign business partner. The report says both Mnangagwa and Shanfari were involved in illegal cash and diamond smuggling through Harare Airport.

According to the report, bought business class tickets and arranged for the transfer of the large sums of cash from Europe for their Congolese deals.

A man known only as Ali who is the runner is quoted as saying that on three occasions, he picked up large sums of money between US$500 000 and US$750 000 from London and Brussels banks that are in the name of Oryx.

Ali and another called only Moses in one of the reports said they were10 such money smuggling trips that could involve more than US$5 million.

He says the money belonged to a Lebanese diamond dealer, an Iraqi arms dealer and a Sudanese businessman involved in the scandal that saw the closure of the Bank of Credit and Commerce International (BCCI) in 1992.

When BCCI folded up, its branch in Zimbabwe were renamed the  Commercial Bank of Zimbabwe. Former Reserve Bank governor Gideon Gono was the bank's boss. Gono is Robert Mugabe's banker.

Most of the couriers, the reports say, were former soldiers who obeyed orderd without qusetions. They smuggled the money through Gatwich Airport and were met at the Harare Airport by Mnangagwa's army men who facilitated ease entrance into Zimbabwe.

"The money would then be distributed in various ways," said Ali, who says he saw much of what happened with his own eyes.

"Part of it would go to the PLO Embassy in Harare."

"The ambassador (Ali Halimeh) was a very nice man. As well as being the longest-serving diplomat in Harare - his car's number plate was CD1 - he was a foreign exchange dealer. He gave us Zimbabwean dollars in return for the US, lots of them, in big cardboard boxes," Ali says in the report.

Large chunks of this money would then go to Mnangagwa.

"Emmerson would get a cut after every trip. What would happen would be that Emmerson would come round to Thamer's house for a barbecue or a dinner, he has a huge ranch house outside Harare, and while they were eating one of Thamer's trusted people would put two or three of these cardboard boxes stuffed with money into the boot of Emmerson's car," says Ali.

The report also fingers Mugabe's young wife, Grace, who is described as "a woman who has acquired a reputation as something of an African Imelda Marcos on account of her profligate spending down the years in the shops of London, New York, Madrid and other western capitals which she has visited in recent years, usually flying Air Zimbabwe, a state airline which the Mugabes have a habit of comandeering for their own private use".

Ali and Moses said they were aware of boxes of money having been delivered by car to the First Lady at her home.

"A third beneficiary was General Vitalis Zvinavashe, head of the Zimbabwean armed forces," the report states.

The report also accuses Sydney Sekeramayi, who after receiving cash donation  wrote to Shanfari on 7 July 2000 when he was Minister of State Security in the President's Office, thanking him for gift.

Sekeramayi had retained his parliamentary seat and his letter, that carried an official Zimbabwean government letter head and contains Sekeremayi's signature at the bottom reads:

"Dear Mr Thamer Al-Shanfari, I am writing this letter to express my sincere appreciation for the generous moral, material and financial assistance you rendered to boost my election campaign. My re-election as the Member of Parliament for Marondera East was greatly facilitated by your support. Thank you very much. Dr S.T. Sekeremayi."

Joice Mujuru's 'letter' to Oppah Muchinguri on Josiah Tongogara's death

35 years after Guerrila Forces boss, Josiah Tongogara, was killed in an accident on his way to Mozambique with Ms Muchinguri who was in the same car, Zimbabweans have continued to query why she allegedly came out of the ordeal without a single scratch in the same tragedy which instantly killed the freedom fighter.

Dear Oppah,
Napoleon Bonaparte once said “Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake”, thats why I kept quiet when you and Grace were busy attacking me at your rallies. As fools I was giving you enough rope so that you can hang yourselves. Now that you are in a fix let me respond to some of the accusations you made against me. I say “you” because im reliably informed that most of the things Grace said about me came from you. I have already written to her giving her my piece of mind. You may have seen the letter after it was leaked and went viral on the social network.
Perhaps I should start by telling you that I was shocked that you were so naive to think that you could solve our party problems by hiring Grace to join politics. So you thought since Grace slept (past tense) with the President she somehow acquired some of his presidential powers and that you could use those powers against me? If power could be transmitted through sex, Im sure you would be one of the most powerful women in Zimbabwe yourself since you also used to sleep with Mugabe. You should by now know that there is nothing special about being First Lady or sharing the bed with the head of state. Furthermore when you were telling lies about me you conveniently chose to forget that all of us have skeletons in our closets. But unlike Grace I will not use beer-hall language to respond to your accusations. You should both have taken her advice when she said people who live in glass houses should never throw stones at others. How dare you give Grace wrong information about me when you could easily tell the truth? Is it because you are afraid of the truth? Or perhaps you are afraid that if the truth is said about you people will know that you were complicit in the death of Cde Tongogara on 26 December 1979? That you are the one who carried out Mugabe’s instruction to hide the letter sent to him by our military intelligence on 22 December, a letter that could have convinced him to travel by air and not by road where he was ambushed and murdered on his way from Mozambique. And were you not part of the convoy yet you survived the ambush and later lied about the circumstances of his death? Did you not later tell the commission enquiring about Cde Tongogara’s death that you hid the letter from him because he had raped you the night before? And then you want to talk about my corruption when you have such skeletons in your closet? Besides is Grace not the queen of corruption in Zimbabwe? But then birds of a feather always flock together. You have the blood of Cde Tongo on your head and she has that of Peter Pamire who had to die to hide her adultery with him.
Grace accuses me of harbouring presidential ambitions as if its a crime to aspire to be president. I would rather aspire and work to be the president of Zimbabwe than change men like sanitary pads or pretend to fall in love just so I can be First Lady. Better still, I would never use a default position like that of First Lady to settle personal scores with perceived enemies, never. More so when I have contributed nothing towards getting him into the presidential seat. So tell her to stop attacking me for dreaming bigger than being just a president’s wife. You must also tell her that her accusation of incompetence against me will not stick. I work under the instruction of her husband and that as vice president can never do anything that will overshadow my boss. This means by accusing me of being incompetent Grace is telling the world that her husband is incompetent. Furthermore if the President is not happy with my performance as vice president its not up to his wife to warn or fire me. But, as I said, you have been very naive to think Grace can talk about party business when she is just a card carrying grassroot member of the party. Thats why the Politburo asked you and not Grace for a report about your silly shenanigans. I thought you were smarter than that Oppah. Evidently I was wrong about you.
On the issue of diamonds and corruption which you made Grace parrot about, let me educate you a bit. When diamonds were discovered in Chiadzwa my husband, like everyone else in the party also told the President that he wanted a share. Dont pretend as if you dont know how things are done in the party, that one’s share of the cake depends on how much the President is willing to give. My husband got permission from the president to form a diamond mining company and to get a concession. So we formed ACR (Pvt) Ltd, the President had Mbada, Grace formed DMC, the army formed Anjin with the Chinese, Chihuri and the police formed Gayaye, Bonyongwe and the CIO formed Kusema and the government formed Marange Resources. All these companies were given permission to mine diamonds in Marange but at that time no one had neither the money nor the expertise to mine diamonds. Others formed partnerships with those who had the necessary resources. Solomon and I also failed to get money to start the operation but we got a lucky break when we discovered that the area that we had been given to mine was richer than the areas given to others. Our problems started when Grace got wind that the Mujuru area was easier to mine and that it was producing diamonds of better quality. As has become her MO, Grace got the President to ask Solomon to surrender our concession for another one. My husband refused and the rest is history. So Grace cannot tell me about corruption when my husband was fried alive for refusing to surrender our claim. She must not attempt to paint herself in white when everything about her is as black as the darkest night.
NOTE... this could be true or just one of those humourous pieces with a tinge of pain to it.

Robert Mugabe's Hong Kong apartment

Mr Mugabe, 84, and his wife Grace, 44, whose country is mired with poverty, hunger and hyper-inflation, also have a network of financial interests throughout the Far East, according to a Sunday newspaper.
They have bought a luxury apartment in Hong Kong's Tai Po district through a middleman, the paper claimed.
It said that they did so through a holding company called Cross Global, which purchased House Number Three in a new property development called JC Castle.
The development is a walled and gated complex complete with gardens, a clubhouse and a swimming pool. Situated in the northern reaches of Hong Kong, the development is targeted at affluent Hong Kong residents who are seeking to escape the smog of downtown.
The complex was built by Albert Yeung, one of the island's most colourful tycoons, who has been repeatedly accused of having links to both organised crime and the Chinese Communist Party but has never been convicted and denies any wrongdoing.
Both of Mrs Mugabe's children have been educated in Asia. Her son Russell, by her first husband, studied in Bangkok while Bona, her daughter with Mr Mugabe, is currently at Hong Kong university, despite a public outcry.
The Mugabes visited Hong Kong last year, taking up two floors of the Shangri-La hotel in Kowloon and running up a bill of tens of thousands of pounds, all of which was paid in cash. According to reports in the Zimbabwean media, $92,000 (£64,000) was withdrawn from the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe, the country's central bank, before the trip.
Grace Mugabe is also mulling over a multi-million pound diamond venture on the Chinese mainland, sending diamonds to be cut in Qingdao. In addition to the latest apartments, the Mugabes are thought to have several more properties throughout South East Asia and close links not only with the Chinese government, but also with the former Malaysian prime minister, Mahathir bin Mohamad.

Bona’s opulent mansion present complete

HARARE – An online publication, The Telescope News, on Tuesday reported that  Zimbabwe’s first
daughter, Bona Nyepudzai Mugabe, has been presented with keys to a new multi-million dollar plush mansion in Mazowe, as a belated wedding gift by her spendthrift mother, Grace Mugabe, to secure her daugther’s future, although the family reportedly owns an array of other villas and real estate property inside and outside the country.
The three-storey mansion, which has been constructed by a reputable Chinese construction firm, and almost the same size as the Mugabe’s famous Borrowdale “blue roof” mansion, will come as another bonanza for Nyepudzai, after President Mugabe surrendered his historic Mt Pleasant house, at 40 Quorn Road where he lived before he became prime minister in 1980, together with his first wife Sally Mugabe as an official present for his daughter who tied the knot in May to mysterious pilot husband, Simba Chikore.
Revelations of Bona’s mansion, which was first widely reported by local media, as belonging to Grace, with other sections speculating that, the mansion built at Mapfeni Farm, was Mugabe’s new mansion, come amid reports that Mugabe’s youngest son, Bellarmine Chatunga, is set to inherit his father’s Borrowdale palace, which Mugabe claims is a donation from his Zanu PF party.
“That mansion in Mazowe ndeya Bona (is for Bona),” said a staffer at Amai Mugabe Junior School in Mazowe, which is opposite to the massive property. “We got wind that the President has declared that their official residence in Borrowdale, is to be inherited by Chatunga. Although the boy is naughty, VaMugabe (Mugabe) has a soft spot for him. You know they say a child you make in your old age, represents your strength. Initially Bona, was meant to move into the Borrowdale mansion later, but Mugabe wants that mansion to be in Chatunga’s name. So an alternative has been found for Bona.”
The President’s Office insisted on  a written fax, before being able to respond, to our questions. “We do not take direct calls from reporters. Please send us a written fax, with your inquiry,” said a press officer.
Bona’s mansion is coming at a heavy price for farmers and ordinary farm workers in the area. The first lady has been seizing land without ceasing since the land reform blitz began in 2000, turning Mazowe into a personal family fiefdom. Grace Mugabe, despite allegedly displacing hundreds of families, and costing a citrus concern its business after claiming more land on the company’s farm, argues that she needs the land to develop her many projects, including the expansion of her orphanage in the area. There are also plans to expand the Amai Mugabe Junior School, and ambitions of constructing a university, sources said this week.
The first family acording to press reports, is also linked to the eviction of over 900 families at Manzou Farm in Mazowe, following indications that the Mugabe’s wants to annex the property and turn it into a wildlife sanctuary.
“The land is no longer sufficient to sustain the projects the First Lady has on her sleeves,” said Minister of State for Provincial Affairs in Mashonaland Central, Martin Dinha, recently and publicly promising the Mugabes more land in his province.
“We are working on the papers to stretch the land so that she can have more land to do her projects. Some people might say ‘The First Lady is greedy, why does she want more land?’, but we are saying it is justified for her to have more land.”
Mazowe residents and farmers who spoke to this publication , say the new Mapfeni farm mansion, has been built using local materials, but most of the interior designs and security equipment is from Hong Kong and China. Some of the features of the imposing mansion, among other things includes:
  • Two conical towers similar to the Great Zimbabwe towers on either side of the gate.
  • Two metres high security wall.
  • State of the art surveillance cameras.
  • Luxurious carport.
  • Swimming pool and modern gym.
  • Numerous bedrooms and bathrooms.
  • Guest house.
The first family’s other known mansions are in Hong Kong, and Malaysia. In Malaysia, Mugabe, reportedly owns another luxurious villa located in Bukit Tunku in Kaula Lumpur.
Bukit Tunku is famed for being the Beverly Hills of Malaysia, and is somewhat similar to Harare’s posh Borrowdale Brooke enclave housing the country’s powerful elites, where residents share almost the same address but with different house numbers and unique security provisions.

Bona’s $7 million mansion deal goes sour

The dispute over ownership of the house in Hong Kong that President Robert Mugabe’s daughter
Bona used while at university has spilled over into the courts. According to court papers, the government of Zimbabwe claims that it is the owner of the $7 million mansion.
The Hong Kong companies’ registry records that the three-story house was bought by Chinese businessman Hsieh Ping-Sung thought his company Cross Global in 2008. In 2010 the company sold it to Hsieh. He has refused to hand over the title deeds to the property.
The Mugabe family has had other business dealings with Hseih that went sour. They accuse the businessman of stealing $1 million from a trucking deal. Observers say the latest dispute shows the extent to which the Mugabe’s and their Zanu (PF) colleagues have gone to hide the acquisition of valuable assets abroad. They also question why, if the house belonged to the government and not the Mugabe family, it was occupied by Bona Mugabe. It is not clear who is footing the legal bill in the battle to get the deeds back from Hsieh.
